Welcome to Ryder’s Xchange! By registering as a host on our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Eligibility
To become a host, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
- Provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
- If renting out three or more vehicles on the platform, possess and maintain a valid dealership license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
3. Host Responsibilities As a host, you agree to:
- Provide accurate descriptions and images of your rental vehicle.
- Ensure the rental vehicle is safe, clean, and compliant with all local laws and regulations.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with renters.
- Inform renters that they are responsible for any fines, including parking fines or speeding fines, incurred during the rental period. If renters fail to comply with fine payments, contact Ryder’s Xchange at Support@rydersxchange.com for assistance.
- Honor all bookings and reservations made through Ryder’s Xchange.
- Ensure each vehicle is equipped with a GPS tracking unit, which is required for security and insurance purposes.
4. Listing and Booking
Hosts are responsible for setting their own rental prices and availability.
All bookings must be made through the Ryder’s Xchange platform.
Hosts must not cancel bookings except in exceptional circumstances.
5. Fees and Payments
Ryder’s Xchange charges a service fee for each booking.
Payments are processed through our secure payment system and transferred to the host.
Payment period is on a monthly basis; this can be modified in the future.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Hosts must adhere to the cancellation policy set by Ryder’s Xchange.
In the event of a cancellation, hosts may be required to refund the renter according to the policy.
7. Insurance and Liability
Hosts are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage for their rentals.
Ryder’s Xchange is not liable for damages or losses incurred by hosts or renters.
All vehicles must have GPS units installed, ensuring tracking for insurance and security compliance.
8. Termination
Ryder’s Xchange reserves the right to terminate or suspend a host’s account for any reason, including violations of these terms and conditions.
9. Amendments
Ryder’s Xchange may amend these terms at any time. Hosts will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.
Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
