Ryder’s Xchange is a peer-to-peer vehicle sharing platform that connects vehicle owners (Hosts) with people who need to rent scooters or motorcycles (Renters).

The platform manages:

01. Account & Sign-Up FAQ

  1. Visit Ryder’s Xchange website.
  2. Click Sign Up.
  3. Enter:
    name
    email
    phone number
    password
  4. Verify your email.
  5. Upload ID verification.
  6. Accept terms and conditions.

Once approved, you can book vehicles or list your own.

Renters

  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Photo ID
  • Payment method

Hosts

  • Government ID
  • Bank account details
  • Vehicle registration
  • Proof of ownership

02. Renter Handbook

Renters can search by:

  • location
  • price
  • vehicle type
  • availability

Each listing includes:

  • photos
  • pricing
  • vehicle rules
  • pickup location
  • host rating
  1. Search available vehicles.
  2. Select booking dates.
  3. Review vehicle details.
  4. Submit booking request.
  5. Complete payment.
  6. Receive confirmation.

Bookings become active once the payment is processed.

Before starting your trip:

  1. Inspect the vehicle.
  2. Take photos of the condition.
  3. Confirm fuel or battery level.
  4. Follow host instructions.

At the end of the booking:

  • Return the vehicle at the agreed location.
  • Return keys or lock the vehicle.
  • Take return photos.
  • Confirm trip completion.

03. Host Handbook

Hosts can earn income by listing scooters or motorcycles.

Steps:

  1. Create a Ryder’s Xchange account.
  2. Click Become a Host.
  3. Add vehicle details.
  4. Upload photos.
  5. Set pricing and availability.

Vehicle listings must include:

  • make and model
  • year
  • engine size
  • clear photos
  • vehicle condition
  • pickup location

Listings must be accurate to prevent disputes.

Hosts can choose:

  • daily price
  • weekly price
  • long-term discounts

The platform may recommend competitive pricing.

Hosts must:

  • keep vehicles roadworthy
  • provide accurate listings
  • honor confirmed bookings
  • communicate with renters

Platforms often penalise frequent host cancellations to maintain reliability.

04. Booking Process FAQ

  1. Renter searches vehicle

Hosts may reject bookings if:

05. Payment Process

All payments are processed through the Ryder’s Xchange platform.

Renters pay:

  • rental price
  • service fee
  • security deposit (if required)

Payments are securely held until the booking begins.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • credit cards
  • debit cards
  • digital payments

Payments outside the platform are not allowed.

06. Payout Process (Hosts)

Hosts receive payouts:

  • after the trip begins or ends
  • minus service fees

Funds are transferred to the host’s bank account.

Processing time: 1–5 business days.

Hosts can view earnings in their Host Dashboard, which includes:

  • upcoming bookings
  • completed rentals
  • pending payouts
  • total earnings

07. Cancellation Policy

Renters may cancel bookings from their account dashboard.

Typical structure:

Time before rental  –   Refund
7 days             –        Full refund
3 – 7 days         –       Partial refund
After start          –       No refund

Many vehicle sharing platforms offer similar refund structures depending on timing of cancellation.

If a host cancels:

  • renter receives full refund
  • platform may assist in finding another vehicle

If the renter fails to collect the vehicle:

  • booking may be marked as No-Show
  • refund may not apply.

08. Breakdown Process

If a vehicle breaks down during rental:

  1. Move to a safe location.
  2. Contact the host.
  3. Contact Ryder’s Xchange support.
  4. Follow roadside assistance instructions.

Support may arrange:

  • repair assistance
  • replacement vehicle
  • early trip termination

09. Reporting Issues

Hosts can report:

  • damage
  • late return
  • misuse
  • traffic fines

Reports can be submitted through the Host Dashboard.

Renters can report:

  • unsafe vehicles
  • inaccurate listings
  • host misconduct

Support may investigate and resolve disputes.

10. Reviews & Ratings

After each booking:

  • renters review hosts
  • hosts review renters

Ratings help maintain a trustworthy community.

11. Account Deletion

Users may delete their account if:

  • no active bookings exist
  • payouts are completed
  • disputes are resolved

Steps:

  1. Log in
  2. Go to Account Settings
  3. Click Delete Account
  4. Confirm request

Data may be retained where required by law.
